Green Lantern: 80 Years of the Emerald Knight: The Deluxe Edition.Salakk agreed to watch over Katma Tui's space sector, Sector 1417, in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #197.Guy Gardner was invited back into the Green Lantern Corps during Hal Jordan's absence in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #195.Nearly all existing members of the Green Lantern Corps were in attendance, but only a few are shown in flashback in this issue. This issue contains a flashback to the Guardians and Zamarons exodus from Oa as presented in Green Lantern (Volume 2) #200.

The series does not officially become Green Lantern Corps until issue #206. Although the cover copy reads Green Lantern Corps, the inside indicia still recognizes the title as Green Lantern.

After an exhaustive battle, the villains are forced to flee. They ambush the Green Lantern Corps, but even their varied powers are no match for the combined might of seven Green Lanterns. Polaris, Sonar and the other villains watch from a distance, biding their time until the most opportune moment to attack. With the power of seven Green Lantern rings to assist in the labor, construction is completed within short order. Despite her lack of companionship, she continues to scheme against her enemies, Hal, John and Katma.īack on Earth, the Green Lanterns begin construction of the Green Lantern Citadel. She is agitated that her fellow Zamarons have abandoned their world to be with the Guardians. The Palomarisians retreat from the battle.Įlsewhere, Star Sapphire returns to the planet Zamaron. Guy flies out the window and engages them, destroying several of their ships. Suddenly, a fleet of Palomarisian warships enters the city and declares war on Maltus.

Guy is upset that the accommodations are so Spartan, and feels that he deserves better. On the planet Maltus, Appa Ali Apsa shows Guy Gardner his new living quarters. Polaris suggests forming an alliance with Sonar and his crew in an effort to destroy the Green Lantern Corps. Polaris is flanked by three of his own associates Whiteout, Dropdedand Polestar. Meanwhile, Sonar and two of his underlings, Throttle and Blindside, meet up with another esteemed super-villain – Doctor Polaris. The seven Green Lanterns get to know each other better and set out to establish a new base of operations for themselves. This new Lantern, originally a genetics scientist, claims that his sector was "blown to bits" during the crisis, and that he decided to join them when he heard the Guardians' briefing. They meet up with Hal, John, Katma and Arisia on Earth, only to find that they are now joined by an additional seventh member – Kilowog of Bolovax Vik. Though he is too proud to admit it to anyone, Salakk feels lonely.

After guarding both his own space sector as well as that of Katma Tui, he no longer wishes to operate in such isolated conditions. So now Ch'p feels like the with Corps is the only place where he feels at home. On this new universe, Ch'p died years ago, and his wife M'nn'e is now married with his best friend D'll. Ch'p tells Salakk of his recent return to his home world H'lven, but as an effect of the Crisis, his story there has been rewritten. Both have agreed to join with the other Green Lanterns in patrolling Sector 2814.
